Walk into La Panthera, and you’ll understand that this is not a place for teetotaling. It’s the sort of restaurant that seems to lean in and whisper, “Go on, just one glass.” And before you know it, you’re swirling something cold, crisp, and slightly too good to share.

The room is all moody lighting, velvet corners, and quiet confidence – like a European dining room that ran off to Bombay and got a little cooler. There’s a 21-foot marble bar that practically dares you not to order a drink, a dramatic green-and-gold palette, and chandeliers that are less glittery show-offs and more old-soul charmers.

Wine just feels right here.

More Wine Please: A Wine Tasting Experiencewhere you forget the rules & follow the flavour

La Panthera, Chef Manuel Olveira’s modern European hotspot, is uncorking a brand-new experience for wine lovers and the wine-curious alike: More Wine Please. Forget stiff rules and swirling anxiety, this is wine tasting, La Panthera style – no pressure, no pretence, just flavour-forward food and perfectly matched pours. Curated by Sommelier Cyrus Rodrigues and Chef Manuel Olveira, this guided yet free-spirited wine tasting menu takes guests across continents in four wines, three handpicked modern European dishes and one indulgent dessert, all for ₹3250++ per person.

The Concept

More Wine Please is about letting your palate lead the way. Guests choose each wine from a shortlist of carefully selected bottles, with each pour paired to their choice of course. It’s the freedom to explore without the fear of “getting it wrong” because here, the only rule is that you enjoy yourself. This is wine the way it should be – poured generously, matched with food you actually want to eat.

The Journey

Chef Manuel and Sommelier Cyrus have plotted a four-glass trip across continents with each pour paired to your choice of three modern European dishes and one dessert. It’s guided, yes, but without the piety. No one will test you on terroir. You start where every good evening should: bubbles or pink. That’s Perlino Prosecco from Italy, crisp, clean, slightly flirty, or Miss Valentine’s Rosé from France, all wild strawberries and summer in a glass. With it comes your first edible decision – stracciatella with poached pear, beetroot carpaccio with crispy filo, Norwegian salmon tartare or La Panthera’s tenderloin carpaccio. From there, it’s a waltz through silken Pinot Noir, fresh Chardonnay, robust Chianti and the kind of Cabernet that convinces you, you’ve always liked Cabernet. On the plate? Gambas al ajillo, champagne linguine with clams, glazed vegetables that could make a carnivore weep, and a tenderloin steak that doesn’t need to shout. The fourth glass is yours to repeat, because the best part of wine is drinking the one you liked most, not the one you were told to. Dessert – perhaps the La Panthera profiterole drowning in warm chocolate sauce or an apple tart with vanilla ice cream.

Whether you’re a seasoned sipper or just someone who likes their meal with a little something in the glass, this one’s for you.

A Word on the WineList

La Panthera isn’t just playing matchmaker between plates and pours – it’s making sure the bottle prices are some of the most attractive in the city. Which means if, halfway through, you fall for a wine, you can order the bottle on the spot and feel rather pleased with yourself for having such impeccable taste.

Beyond the wine tasting experience, La Panthera’s bar program has carved its place among the best cocktail spots in Bandra. Every drink is built from scratch, from infusions and cordials to garnishes, making the bar as much a destination as the kitchen. Guests can drop in for a sparkling Prosecco before dinner, linger over a bottle with friends, or settle in at the 21-foot marble bar with one of the house’s signature creations.

At its core, La Panthera is a celebration of European food – from wood-fired pizzas with 48-hour fermented dough and handmade pastas cooked to perfection, to refined mains inspired by Chef Manuel Olveira’s travels across Europe. Together, the modern European food, cocktails, and wines create more than just a meal; they shape an atmosphere. Stylish yet soulful, La Panthera is equally suited for intimate date nights, long lunches, or lively evenings that carry well into the night – a true standout among the top restaurants in Bandra.
