After building our modern Spanish restaurant, La Loca Maria, La Panthera felt like the natural next chapter in how we wanted to cook & host.

La Panthera is shaped by our travels across Europe – its food, its bars, its quiet, timeless charm. Everything you experience here comes from meals we’ve eaten, flavours we’ve returned to and ideas we’ve refined & made our own.

Why We Cook The Way We Do

We’ve travelled across Europe and eaten some very good meals.
The kind you don’t forget.
The kind that quietly recalibrates your idea of what good tastes like.

La Panthera is where those meals ended up.

It isn’t Spanish. It isn’t Italian, French or Greek.
It’s Modern European – which is to say, it borrows from everywhere worth borrowing from.

The food is straightforward & deliberate.
Neapolitan-style pizzas made with light, fermented dough.
Handmade pastas. Bright ceviches. Simple yet flavourful carpaccios & tartares.
Steaks cooked properly and served without fuss.

Flavours are robust. Plating is refined.
Nothing is overworked. Nothing is there to impress for the sake of it.

What makes it ours is the edit.
We’ve taken what stayed with us, stripped away the excess and cooked it the way we believe it should be cooked today.
Same references. Clearer intent. Our own point of view.

This is comfort food, elevated – familiar flavours, handled with thought & intent.

A Seat At The Bar

The bar is as much a part of La Panthera as the kitchen.

Every drink is built with intention – in-house infusions, cordials, tinctures & garnishes, made the slow way. The result is a focused list of 14 signature cocktails that balance playfulness with precision.

There’s The Wildlings, with watermelon gin & jalapeño bitters.
Raison D’Être, built on smoky mezcal & sherry.
And Ring the Bell, a light, celebratory hibiscus-peach Bellini.

Each cocktail is designed to work with the food, not compete with it.
They’re made to be sipped, ordered again and enjoyed well after the last plate leaves the table.

A Postcard From Europe

La Panthera is envisioned as a modern reverie of old-world Europe – imagined as the chic living room of a grand manor.

An ornate black door opens into a space of quiet drama: coffered ceilings overhead, brass chandeliers casting a warm, honeyed glow and bespoke furnishings dressed in layered greens & yellows that feel both timeless and inviting. The balance is deliberate – classic without being formal, contemporary without feeling cold.

At the heart of the room stands The Beast Within, a commanding 15-foot artwork that draws the eye and anchors the space, while a sweeping 21-foot bar carved from marble & wood stretches alongside it – a natural gathering point for cocktails & conversations.

Arches frame the room with soft elegance, textured walls add depth and velvet curtains gently temper the mood. Together, these elements create an atmosphere that feels immersive & intimate – a space designed to be experienced slowly, where the setting is as memorable as the meal itself.
